Biography

Dr. John Sample is a surgeon in the Division of General Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Sample completed his residency at A Top University and his fellowship at A Top Hospital. Dr. Sample is active in research and has published extensively throughout his long surgical career.

 

Dr. Sample has been performing advanced laparoscopic surgery since 1999. His practice is focused primarily on advanced laparoscopic bariatric surgery, anti-reflux surgery and advanced laparoscopic general surgery including robotic surgery.

 

Dr. Sample is certified by the American Board of Surgery and serves on the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) Resident Committee and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Research Committee.
